The staff was friendly and polite. Our room was clean.
Our room keys did not work well. It was very difficult to get them to scan and open. The shuttle service was not exactly what is was advertised to be. Getting downtown on the shuttle was easy, but we waited over an hour for the shuttle to pick us up at the end of the night and then there were so many people waiting that half of them got left behind and had to wait another 45 minutes or so.
The room and bathroom were very nice. more than i expected.. The best thing about my stay was the close distance. And I loved the soft, plush full body towels..
Continental breakfast and room was cheesy..
The room was very nice. The staff was very helpful and the location was perfect.
Well, I was suppose to stay at the Ambassador Inn but they over-booked so I was switched to a suite at the Ambassador Hotel across the street. The room was very nice. My only complaint would be that it did not have a fridge or microwave. I had a mini fridge with ridiculously overpriced items, but no where to store any food or drinks of my own. Other than that I really enjoyed your hotel.
It was close to the convention center and they offered shuttle services. Across the street was a very good family diner. Excellent food and fair prices.
I was given a free upgrade from the inn to the hotel for no reason.
The room was very nice and clean.
The hotel is located in a pretty rough part of town. When I walked into the lobby I got attitude from the lady at the front desk immediately! I was dreading my stay at this point, but when I got to the room, it was a very pleasant surprise!
Friendliness of staff, room size, comfort no tolerance policy towards loud guests Shuttle service to town
No fruits for breakfast ugly elevator
Soap & shampoo really nice
No 24 hr. Coffee in lobby... If you want a cup of coffee after continental breakfast, too bad...Stained sheets...Stained carpet in room...paint and caulk in shower sub par ( stained & cracked )...woodwork in hallways terribly beat up...
There was no indication on the website that the hotel was not in a good neighborhood. Furthermore, the description on the website made it appear that the hotel is much nicer than it actually is. We were literally afraid to walk down the street.
The Ambassador Hotel across the street has the top-notch dining, bar, and superior rooms. Choose it, rather than the low cost Inn , which is cinder-block modern and a bit worn. Owner is starting upgrade, but for now it is a student, budget choice.. All staff excellent....
Staff was rude. Hotel was dirty. The continental breakfast was the worst I have ever seen. Staff could not even manage to refill the coffee at 9:00am. Told us, "Well, you have one of those coffee makers in your room, do you need another packet?" We were not happy with our stay at the Ambassador Inn.
Damage to front of the building needs fixing.
inexpensive,clean and located well
We thought we were staying at the Ambassador Hotel
price and proximity to Marquette University
Nothing, It was a horrible stay, It is a very scary place with bars on the windows and no one willing to deliver food to the area.
Bars on the windows - Staff only worked certain hours then I had to go across the street for everything else. No one would deliver to the area, I was told not to go outside at night by the hotel staff.
